Noise Intellibuds review

Indian brand Noise, a wearable and audio bran, has made great strides in India's market. The brand's achievements in the TWS (truly wireless earbuds), segment have been well-recognized and it is now second to Boat. The Noise Intellibuds, which are unique in the sub-Rs. 5,000 TWS market, I have with me. Let's see how they compare to other products and whether they are worth your consideration. The bottom linLet's begin with the dimensions of the case. It is quite large. The case's rectangular shape meant that it was difficult to fit in my jeans pocket. Although the overall build quality of the lid is not very strong, it does have a matte finish which gives it a premium look. The bottom of the case features a USB-C charging port, while the front has a single LED to indicate the battery level and if the TWS is in pairing mode. The case holds the earbuds in place with magnets. They are also easy to take out. The Intellibuds are similar to AirPods in design and feature a stem that extends from the bud. It also features capacitive touch input. The box includes replacement silicone tips and an in-ear design. The Noise Intellibuds have the most unique features in their segment. They can be controlled with gesture controls. The NoiseFit Smart app is only available for Android. The app will detect if your TWS buds have been paired with your phone once you're inside. There is a short setup process for gesture control. You can also customize different head movements for different tasks. A head nod can be used to answer an incoming call, or to switch tracks with a shake of your head. The feature performed well in my testing, but it sometimes found it too sensitive. This was more apparent when I went on a run with a slight shake of the head switching to the next track.

Intellibuds have a voice control feature that works directly on the earbuds. However, you will need to train the Voice Module in the NoiseFit App. Once you have done that, you can use the feature to say "Hey headphones. Play / Pause / Volume up". You can also use the feature to accept or reject calls. The device's voice control function was only effective in quiet environments. The voice control can be very weak in noisy environments. There's also an option to take a remote selfie using the paired smartphone and use fast mute during a conversation.

The Intellibuds don't have ANC (active sound cancelling), which is what almost all TWS offer in this price range. However, you do get a good transparency mode that opens up the surrounding noise. The capacitive touch response of the buds is great and is helped by the large surface area. You can also customize the touch input within the NoiseFit app in order to achieve different tasks. You can only adjust the EQ via the app for audio. You can also stream the same music to another pair using Music SharingNoise has partnered up with Bragi, a German audio company, to tune the Intellibuds sound quality. However there is still room for improvement. The music is a little lacking in depth due to the lack of a strong bass output. The vocals sound a little muted, and the lyrics aren't very appealing due to their less than ideal mids. It could be wider because it is difficult to hear instruments. Comparing the Realme Air Buds 3 to review, I found the latter slightly better in all aspects. The Intellibuds have no ANC, which prevents outside noise from affecting the music I was listening. However, the microphone quality was good in my testing. The battery life was impressive, too. Noise has actually rated it at 36 hours. It can take about two hours for the case to fully charge, but it can continue to juice up the earbuds for several more days. The buds were used for two to three hours each day. I only began looking for the charger about a week later.Verdict The Intellibuds are equipped with a number of useful features to compensate for the sub-par   sound quality. Noise has emphasized the usefulness of the earbuds, including their hands-free use with voice and gesture control. The lack of ANC is a major drawback to the device. However, transparency mode works quite well. The case could be trimmed a little in size. The Intellibuds are an intelligent option if you don't care about the sound quality and the utility features are useful.
