iQOO 11 5G review

iQOO has launched a brand new flagship smartphone on the Indian market, in the shape of iQOO 11.. The company has omitted the number 10 from its nomenclature following the launch of that it was launching the iQOO 9. ( review) series in the past but the concept of the concept behind what iQOO represents has not changed one inch.

Verdict

The iQOO 11 is undoubtedly the most powerful Android phone in the world as of the writing time this. All the performance demands you could need from a modern smartphone will be met adequately by the latest iQOO handset. Speedy charging, solid design, an excellent image quality and decent camera equipment are all that make up one of the best smartphones from the top collection.

Display and design

From the exterior, iQOO has retained a variety in design features that had been used in earlier iterations. For instance the white finish and racing stripes that are common on the iQOO 9 series can also be seen on the new iQOO11's Legend version. But, I got this Alpha variant of the gadget, which sports a the same dark grey glossy finish, and appears to be as high-end. Gorilla Glass Victus will be the primary protection used and the back, you will find standard AG glass. The quality of the build and weight distribution of the phone is top-notch, as one would expect. This is more noticeable when you consider the huge 413mm2 vapour chamber that is housed within the phone. There is no headphone jack in the iQOO 11, however, you get a pair of stereo speakers. For the sensor for fingerprints, it's an in-display model with the power switch as the volume control bar are situated on the phone's right-hand side. There is also the triple camera layout which sticks out a little bit from the body and has an eerie resemblance to Vivo phones from the past. Overall, I feel this iQOO 11 is well-built and is built with strength, yet attracts attention.

Cameras

iQOO doesn't leave the phone's photography capabilities as a secondary feature and the primary camera is a Samsung ISOCELL-GN5 sensor. It comes with an 13MP telephoto lens that is that can be used to zoom 2X as well as an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The conditions in Delhi have been a bit hazy these past couple of days, making it difficult for me to make accurate assessments of parameters like dynamic range however what I've observed has me pretty happy. In my test I carried the camera through different outdoor and indoor shooting situations The conclusion that I could draw is that the colors that are captured by the camera can appear to be a little saturated.

Night mode turned off Night setting on

For the phone's capabilities in low light, iQOO has made some significant strides to improve image quality over the previous year's iQOO 9. Its sensor is toned back the excessive saturation levels and has stayed with less natural hues. The camera is capable of taking photos fast and the OIS is a marvellous job of preventing excessive shaking. However, I am of the opinion that getting the focus right isn't always easy sometimes, particularly when shooting in a dark room with little light. But however, the Night mode can help with a variety of computing power and produces an impressive image in all situations. The 16MP selfie camera is an interesting feature since it takes extremely detail-oriented images with plenty of facial detail in the display as well as precise skin tones.

Software and performance

The phone's performance and there's no doubt of the fact that iQOO 11 is currently the most powerful Android phone in the world. A quick glance of the handset's 1289,000 Antutu score is enough to label the phone to be a processor's delight. It is powered by Qualcomm's Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Generation 2 processor, it is able to handle all tasks that require a large amount of CPU. There was not a single time that I noticed the iQOO 11 even stutter for a few seconds while it was running three high-end social media applications, scrolling between 10 different Chrome tabs and playing CoD Mobile at the most advanced settings, while an FHD video project was rendered within the background. The device provides the highest 88 percent CPU performance even when it is under load for 20 mins. In addition to that the device has 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, with 8GB more available as the virtual memory of storage of 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. It is also evident that how the iQOO 11 maintains an impressive 70% of stability for the CPU during the extremely challenging 3D Wild Life Extreme Stress test. A portion of the credit for this level of performance could have to do with the massive 4,013mm2 VC that is used to dissipate heat. When I played games with the gadget, I have always felt the middle part of the back becoming hot, but never did the gaming experience cause an even stabbing. iQOO is also equipped with a specialized V2 chip which utilizes frame rate interpolation in order to increase the number of frames per second on games such as CoD: Mobile or the PUBG game New State. Also, a note of appreciation as well as some fantastic tactile feedback that the device provides due to the Dual Linear X-axis Motor. The two speakers on the iQOO 11 are nothing out of the ordinary , and they have sufficient volume. But, there's a noticeable absence of depth in the sound that can deprive the listener of some aspects of the experience. The display has a fingerprint sensor that works according to the specifications, with quick recognition and a simple registration process. Regarding 5G it does come with NSA in addition to SA support. It can also connect to all of the top bands available, with the exception of mmWave. It is worth noting that the iQOO 11 runs on FuntouchOS 13 which is built on Android 13. Android 13 platform. There's nothing to complain about the overall design and operation. The UI is more efficient than the previous generation, with the simple settings being simple to use. When it comes to bloatware it's still the occasional Vivo-branded apps , but there's nothing else. Actually in fact, the user experience bears many resemblances to existing standard Android skins, such as Motorola's MyUX. With timely updates and patches and patches, this iQOO 11 should have a comfortable and secure run with regard to the software is concerned.

Battery

Inside is an 5,000mAh battery that is able to last well over one day when fully recharged. I had around 6 hours of screen-on time , with the resolution limited to 2K and a the 120Hz rate of refresh. It also came with the hour-long CoD Mobile and a couple of shows from Netflix's Kaleidoscope series, along with some internet browsing. As with other devices that compete in the premium space, the iQOO 11 features fast charging that allow you to charge the device at 120W. As I tested it, it took around 20 minutes to fully recharge the battery from 0 to 100.

Final decision

Its iQOO 11 can be classified as the top performance-oriented Android software up to now. Its processing power is exceptional and its performance in handling tough tasks is superb. If mobile gaming with a high-end feel is your thing then it's difficult to miss out on the capabilities of the iQOO 11. The image isn't exactly pretty, though, because the device isn't as efficient due to the absence of the LTPO 2.0 panel for greater performance. The telephoto sensor may become a little jittery sometimes, and the long-running issues with bloatware aren't been solved. In spite of these problems, aside IQOO 11 is an excellent phone that merits a solid recommendation if you're search for a multi-purpose phone which is focused on the performance.
